Symphonic rock F.f.o Marillion’s Clutching At Straws

In November 2025, Lighter than Air–the second album by Dutch band The One–will be released on the renowned progressive symphonic rock/metal label Construction Records. While their 2023 debut ‘Sunrise’ was largely the brainchild of producer and drummer Timothy van der Holst, the band has since evolved into a tight-knit and creative unit following a series of live performances. The One consists of three English and three Dutch musicians, bringing together a unique blend of influences and styles. All members contributed to the music and writing process for this new album, resulting in a noticeably more diverse and layered sound.
