This is a vinyl LP pressing of Howl’s Moving Castle: Image Symphonic Suite (Original Soundtrack) by Joe Hisaishi. Howl’s Moving Castle is a 2004 Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The score was composed and conducted by Joe Hisaishi, and performed by the New Japan Philharmonic. As a student of anime composer Takeo Watanabe, Hisaishi’s music has been known to explore and incorporate different genres, including minimalist, experimental electronic, Western classical, and Japanese classical.
