Released as collaborative effort between West Coast lyricists Rasco and Planet Asia, the album falls on the heels of the duos subsequent solo efforts; Rasco who released his debut LP, Time Waits for No Man in 1998 via Stones Throw, and PAs self-titled debut that dropped the following year. Standing at 16 tracks including the bonus track, Point Blank Range — the album flawlessly complements each emcees rhyme styles. Where on the one hand, Rasco personifies the seasoned rap veteran armed with his baritone flow and no-nonsense rhyme style, Planet Asia on the other, embodies the battle-ready spitter armed with a rapid fire delivery.
